MOLAB researchers receive two awards at the XI Ciudad Real Biomedical Research Meeting

Our researchers Pablo Sanz Galarreta and Julián Pérez Beteta have been recognized at the XI Ciudad Real Biomedical Research Meeting.

Pablo Sanz Galarreta received the Best Oral Presentation Award for his work entitled "Integration of Metabolic and Morphological PET/CT Parameters for Predicting Response and Progression Following CAR T-Cell Therapy in B-Cell Lymphoma". The study explores the potential of combining metabolic and morphological features extracted from PET/CT images to identify biomarkers capable of predicting treatment response and disease progression in patients with B-cell lymphomas receiving CAR T-cell therapy.

Julián Pérez Beteta received the Best Poster Award for his work entitled "Predicting Response to Denosumab in Patients with Fibrous Dysplasia Through Quantification of Baseline Metabolic Activity Using ¹⁸F-NaF PET/CT". The study investigates whether quantitative PET/CT imaging can help predict treatment response to denosumab in patients with fibrous dysplasia, potentially contributing to more personalized therapeutic strategies.
