Tuesday July 28, 2026

Following the highly successful 2026 edition in Graz, the 15th European Conference on Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ECMTB 2028) will take place July 24-28, 2028, in the beautiful city of Turin, Italy. Organized under the auspices of the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ESMTB), ECMTB is Europe’s premier meeting for researchers working at the interface of mathematics, computation, and the life sciences. Bringing together hundreds of scientists from across the world, ECMTB provides a unique forum for presenting the latest advances in mathematical modelling, data-driven biology, artificial intelligence, systems biology, ecology, epidemiology, neuroscience, oncology, and many other areas where quantitative approaches are transforming our understanding of living systems. The conference will feature plenary lectures by internationally renowned researchers, thematic minisymposia, contributed talks, poster sessions, and dedicated activities for early-career scientists, fostering collaboration across disciplines and generations.
