Abstract
The objective of this paper was to study the phenomena in which transverse correlation was extremely low, leading to strongly local phenomena which can be appropriately called turbulence and may not be properly described by any globally oriented model. The most significant deduction is the experimental evidence for turbulent behavior in the laser together with the statement of a model which presented a dynamics closely resembling that observed in the experiments. The analysis of the results permitted the conclusion that the turbulence was weak. The excellent agreement between the dynamical behavior of the model and the experiment implied that the weak turbulent description was suitable for the experimental system being studied.
