Degree in Physics (1998) and PhD. in Physics (2003) both obtained at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. Postdoctoral research fellow (Juan de la Cierva) at the GIQ-Quantum Information Group , Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain (2004-2007). Associate professor of Applied Mathematics (2010-) at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. My research interests include the following topics: Theory and simulations in nonlinear propagation phenomena of optical beams, statistical mechanics of biopolymers and DNA, processing of spatial modes of light for quantum information and quantum communication tasks, and the mathematical modelling of tumor growth and angiogenesis. |
