Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (1997) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Specialization in Hematology and Hemotherapy (La Princesa Hospital, Madrid). She is now working as haematologist at Hospital de Jerez (Cadiz, Spain). Her current research interests include acute lymphoblastic leukemias in children and glycation processes in diabetes. She is one of the PIs of the project "Relapse-0".
