José García Otero (BSc in Mathematics, University of the Basque Country, 2019,  and MSc in Physics and Mathematics, University of Castilla-La Mancha, 2021) is  a PhD student researching pediatric neuroblastoma through mathematical  models. His work focuses on a novel treatment called Celyvir, which combines  an oncolytic virus encapsulated in mesenchymal cells to target tumors. He  collaborates with the Niño Jesús Children's Hospital in Madrid to optimize this  therapy, aiming to enhance its efficacy in combating neuroblastoma.
