Carmen Ortega-Sabater (BSc in Biology and MSc in Experimental Oncology, University of Murcia, and MSc in Applied Mathematics, University of Castilla-La Mancha) is a Ph.D. student funded by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). She is studying mathematically the mechanisms behind phenotypic plasticity and also malignancy evolution in pediatric leukemias and brain metastases using single-cell karyotyping and scRNA-seq data and working in collaboration with Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute and CNIO. |
