Imaging Biomarkers in Glioblastoma

Glioblastoma is the most frequent and aggressive malignant primary brain tumor, with patient median survival of only 14 months from diagnosis. High resolution magnetic resonance imaging is routine for diagnosis, treatment planning, response evaluation and follow-up. We reconstruct the tumors in 3D and use mathematics to identify ‘hidden’ features (e.g. morphological or textural properties) related to patient prognosis and allowing to personalize treatments.
