The Spanish League Against Cancer (Asociación Española contra el Cáncer -AECC) is the largest cancer charity in Spain. The AECC purpouse is to alleviate and prevent, as far as possible, the suffering caused by cancer in people, regardless of their place of residence and personal circumstances. One of their main goals is to support scientific research in the field with the hope of improving survival through the development of novel approaches.
The AECC is supporting MOLAB research in different ways, having funded a PhD student and now a second one, and also through MOLAB participation in a multicenter project funded by the association.
Today, the regional section of the AECC has recognized MOLAB work in an endearing ceremony in which the work of different agents who collaborate in the fight against cancer in Castilla-La Mancha was recognized.
We expect the collaboration between MOLAB and the AECC to consolidate in time and grow stronger in the future for the benefit of cancer patients.
